I am joining UC Davis in Fall 2026 and am excited to begin recruiting students to start my research group.
Your background
Materials science, physics, chemistry, engineering or a related field.
Useful foundations
Familiarity with at least two of the following areas is highly preferred.
- Mathematics at the level of an engineering undergraduate (multivariate calculus, linear algebra, and complex numbers)
- Quantum mechanics, thermodynamics, and solid-state physics
- Python, high-performance computing, and numerical programming
